Russia produced a record amount of plywood in 2021

Russian plywood production in 2021 increased by 6.8% YoY to 4.5 million m³, according to Rosstat. Prior to this, 2019 was a record year, when Russian plywood production amounted to 4.1 million m³.

Also in 2021, the production of fiberboard (including MDF/HDF/flooring) increased by 14.1% YoY to 740 million m² and particleboard (including OSB) by 14.8% YoY to 11.4 million conventional m³.
