U.S. wood pellet exports declined in April 2019

According to data published by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service  for June 6, 2019 April 2019 volumes of export of wood pellets USA decreased from 610 554,3 tons (March 2019) and reached 424 680,5 tons.

Compared to levels in April 2018, also marked the fall of 93 342 tons (518 022,5 tons). The total volume of exports of wood pellets in the first four months of 2019 reached 1.92 million tons, which is more than exports for 4 months of last year -1.74 million tons. But in value terms, indicators decreased from $85.19 million (March 2019) and $82.64 million (April 2018) to $60.27 million.

The main destination of American pellets remains the UK: 352 404.5 tons in April 2019.
