Sveza is considering the possibility of building a pulp and paper mill in the Vologda region

According to the press service of Sveza from July 10, 2019, a new plant can be built in Cherepovets district, Vologda region. 

At the stage of discussion is the project of construction of a new generation of biotechnological complex, which will produce high-quality cellulose and energy from renewable sources: specific decisions on the construction of a pulp mill at the Rybinsk reservoir has not been taken, because there is a comprehensive assessment of its prospects.

At the moment, for the analysis of environmental, technical, socio-economic factors of the future of the plant involved independent specialized companies with a world name: FREKOM LLC and ERM.

The conclusions of the involved experts will form the basis for the materials of the project documentation, which after development will be transferred to the State environmental expertise to Rosprirodnadzor, as well as to the Glavgosexpertiza of Russia. Only following the results of the state examination the company will be able to make a final decision on the implementation of the project.
