Wood pulp export from Russia grew by 12.1% in January — October 2020

According to data from the Federal Customs Service of Russia, the volume of wood pulp export grew by 12.1% YoY in January — October 2020, reaching 1.907 million tons. In monetary terms, the export reduced by 6.7% YoY, down to $821.1 million.

Over the same period, export shipments of newsprint paper dropped by 9.5% YoY (to 925,200 tons); in monetary terms, the reduction reached 33.3% YoY, down to $313 million.
