Wood pulp export from Russia grew by 11.2% in January — September 2020

According to data from the Federal Customs Service of Russia, the volume of wood pulp export grew by 11.2% YoY in January — September 2020, reaching 1.697 million tons. In monetary terms, the export reduced by 9.6% YoY, down to $731.5 million.

Over the same period, export shipments of newsprint paper dropped by 7.6% YoY (to 860,400 tons); in monetary terms, the reduction reached 32.9% YoY, down to $291.1 million.
