13 October 2014 ` 21:51

The organizing committee of Wood Guangzhou industry fair confirmed that on May 9-11, 2015, Guangzhou will host again a large wood industry exhibition and a concurrently held Guangzhou International Wood and Wood Based Panel Conference, which is co-organized by China National Forest Product Industry Association (CNFPIA).

The fair covers trade in logs, sawn timber and all kinds of added-value products. Last year, Wood Guangzhou attracted exhibitors from 20 countries and nearly 13,000 visitors.

In May 2014, many industry professionals participated as guest speakers of the concurrently held conference, such as EOS board member Sampsa Auvinen, WhatWood analytic agency editor Kirill Baranov (Russia), secretary general of CNFPIA Shi Feng, chairman of CNFPIA Qian Xiaoyu, CEO of BNBM Group Zhao Jun.

This forum provided a platform for industrial professionals to share ideas, find business opportunities and learn more about the Chinese and international wood industry market. A networking dinner and business trip to Fulin Timber Market provided further possibilities.

CNFPIA secretary Shi Feng says that many of the 2,000 association members are very interested in South China’s market and will probably participate in the conference and trade fair next year. Wood Guangzhou 2015 arrangers believe that the event will remain No.1 wood and wood products trade fair in China and create the best platform for wood industry insiders.

WhatWood acts as the fair’s representative on the Russian market. We invite readers of the website to participate in the fair and the conference in order to open the opportunities of the well-off and growing South China market. Please send company applications at zakaz@whatwood.ru. Expo booth tariffs are provided on demand.
