Vyatsky Plywood Mill commissioned a new wood waste briquetting site

7 May 2020 ` 12:48

The investments amounted to about 40 million rubles. After reaching the design parameters, the capacity of the briquetting site on the basis of two RUF-600 presses will become 18 tons of wood briquettes from birch chips per day. Previously, RUF briquettes had been produced only from birch dust, and wood waste in the form of chips had been burned or sold. In 2019, the plant sold almost 10,000 tons of RUF briquettes. With the launch of the new site, it is going to increase sales up to 17,000 tons per year.
