The Russian Government approved Timber Accounting Rules for 2021–2026

The Timber Accounting Rules will be valid from January 1, 2021, to January 1, 2027. They specify the accounting procedure for timber obtained from the use of forests as well as from the implementation of measures for the conservation, protection, and reproduction of forests before it is hauled out from the forest.

They also define persons, activities and their sequence, and provisions for rounding the obtained data for the purposes of timber accounting.
