The government of the Republic of Komi and Mondi have signed a cooperation agreement for three years

Head of the Republic of Komi Sergey Gaplikov and General Director of Mondi SLPK Klaus Peller signed an agreement on cooperation and organization of relations between the plant and the government of the Republic. The new agreement is long-term and has been concluded for a three-year period. According to the document, the company will pay the region 550 million rubles annually.

“Mondi has developed a reliable partnership with the Government of the Republic of Komi. For many years, the company has been providing social support in various areas of life in the region. Such joint work benefits both the enterprise and the whole country,” said Klaus Peller, General Director of Mondi SLPK.

Also, funds will be allocated for road construction. So, in 2019 under the agreement, will allocate funds for repair of road sections Usogorsk – Blagoyevo – Chuprovo, Koygorodok Nychas and the entrance to Zaozer’e (before crossing over the river Sysola).

The government of the region intends to assist Mondi SLPK in the implementation of significant investment projects, such as the horizon road map, and in the development of an intensive model for the use and reproduction of forests.
