22 December 2020 ` 19:16

A new DIGITAL PASTING AM 8135 production line of Windmöller & Hölscher, a German machine manufacturing company, is being installed at Segezha Packaging.  Its uniqueness lies in the digital application of glue to the packaging. This technology will improve the quality and speed of gluing as well as the quality and environmental friendliness of finished products.

It is planned to reach the production capacity in the commissioning mode already in 2020. The new equipment will produce a wide range of products. The digital system of transverse and longitudinal gluing will allow quick changing of settings and producing small batches as well. The company will be able to flexibly respond to requests, including those of small and medium-sized businesses.

“The start-up of the line will allow the enterprise to increase the output of bags by 83 million pieces in 2021. The functionality of the new equipment will make it possible to constantly improve the properties of the products,” says Nikolay Skorobogatov, Head of Production at Segezha Packaging.
