Segezha Group produced a large-sized CLT panel weighing about 9.5 tons

Sokol CLT (Segezha Group’s plant) has manufactured a large-sized CLT panel of nine layers: 16 m long, 3.5 m wide, 0.4 m thick. The volume of timber in one panel is 22.4 m³, its weight is about 9.5 tons. It is the first time ever that a solid wood product of this size has been manufactured at a Russian factory.

CLT production facility is situated at the site of Sokolsky DOK (the town of Sokol, Vologda region). Investments amounted to over 3 billion rubles.  The capacity is 50,000 m³ per year. The equipment has been supplied by Ledinek, Imeas, and SCM Group.
