Austrian Binderholz company that gave up plans to construct a mill in Kem (Karelia) in early 2012 is now going to build a new enterprise on the base of Kondopoga wood-exporting mill LLC, as company’s representative Georg Braun said at the meeting with Karelian officials.

Austrian investors are willing to invest into the mill and upgrade equipment there. The project will also create additional jobs. The parties agreed to sign a cooperation agreement in the near term.

Binderholz earlier gave up plans to build a 100,000 cu m planed lumber mill on the base of Kem…
