– LesInvest and Russian Timber Group signed a cooperation agreement, under which will work together to attract investments to Russia, develop technologies and organizational solutions, designed to improve the competitiveness of enterprises, and cooperate in solving environmental problems.

– At the end of April 2015, Egger Drevprodukt Gagarin (Smolensk region) held the official opening ceremony of the first decor paper impregnation line, which has made possible the full cycle of laminated chipboard production.

– Housing affiliate of Zavod gazetnoy bumagi mill (Bellesbumprom, Republic of Belarus) has started deliveries of frame-panel houses to a French company engaged in construction of low-storey communities.

– Andritz Group has commissioned its paper machine PrimeLineCOMPACT II at Pulp Invest LLC enterprise in Kazan.

– On April 29, 2015, the Investment Commission of the Pskov region held a meeting which considered possible state support for four projects. Among them was the investment project of Ales company to build a mill in the Opochetsky area producing dry lumber and pellets with a total investment scope of 331 million roubles.

– President Vladimir Putin said that the idea of possible elimination of export duties for domestic manufacturers of pulp and paper products requires discussion.

– In 2014, the volume of plywood production at the mill Sveza Ust-Izhora (St. Petersburg) has reached 108,300 m3.
