– The Japanese company Iida Sangyo plans to locate a $100-million mill for assembling pre-fabricated wooden houses in the SEZ Alabuga, Tatarstan, as reported by RIA Novosti agency quoting the Director of Investment and Venture Fund of Tatarstan Aynur Aydeldinov. “In Vladivostok, they bought a company for securing raw materials,” said Aydeldinov. “As for the assembling company, they want to locate it in Tatarstan.”

– A working meeting of Deputy Chairman of the regional government Anton Alikhanov with the delegation of the Federal centre for project financing (FCPF, Vnesheconombank group) and the management of TPK Golubevsky LLC took place in Kaliningrad. The parties discussed the project of woodworking plant on the territory of the Guryev town district. Golubevsky is the project operator, while FCPF is responsible for the financing of the preparation of project documentation.

– In Tokyo, negotiations of the Governor of Khabarovsk region Vyacheslav Shport and the Honorary Chairman of the JGC Corporation Yoshihiro Shigehisa have been held. The parties discussed plans for implementing several investment projects of the Japanese company in the region.

– New plywood mill of FanDOK (Bobruisk, Mogilev region, Belarus) has started production, as reported in a press release of Bellesbumprom concern.
