Pulp Mill Holding invested more than 1.5 billion rubles in the acquisition of high-tech equipment of the Voronezh site “Arkhbum”

The volume of investment Pulp Mill Holding the equipment of the new plant JSC Arkhbum in Voronezh OOO “Europack” (IE “Maslowski”) high-tech equipment amounted to more than 1.5 billion rubles this was reported by a member of the Board of Directors of JSC “Arkhangelsk PPM” Vladimir Krupchak.

At the end of 2018, the plant launched a corrugated unit FOSBER SPA (Italy), with a capacity of 188 million m2 per year, processing line BOBST (France), for the production of a four-valve box with a capacity of 3 million m2 per month and a processing line Marquip WardUnited (USA) for the production of rotary die-cutting capacity of 3 million m2 per month.

As Vladimir Krupchak told, in March of this year it is planned to put into operation the second processing line for the production of rotary die – cutting Marquip WardUnited with the same productivity, in April-the processing line Mitsubishi (Japan) for the production of a four-valve box with a capacity of 3 million m2 per month.

The Voronezh site of JSC “Arhbum” is fully automated at every stage of the production cycle: transport systems, palletizers, packaging systems with automated pallet delivery, presented by leading companies in Italy, Germany, Korea.

The plant has implemented MES OMP system, which allows automating the process of planning and distribution of orders at the production facilities.

As previously reported, currently Pulp Mill Holding is implementing a program of modernization of “Europak” and building a sales concept of the enterprise.

In the summer of 2019, Europack will be fully integrated into JSC “Arkhbum“. And, thus, the gofro divizion Pulp Mill Holding will include four processing centers-Podolsk, Istra-1, Istra-2, and Voronezh.

Today, the installed capacity of the three sites “Arhbum” allow to produce up to 700 million m2 of corrugated products per year, in 2020, taking into account the introduction of Istra-2, the production potential will be about 1 billion m2 of corrugated products per year.
