Krasnoyarsk, February 25. Priangarsky LPK in Krasnoyarsk region will start production in November 2013, as said by Nikolay Fetisov, president of Trust bank which acts as financial partner in this project. At the first stage, the enterprise will make 130,000 cu m of lumber per year.

“Rated capacity is 300,000 cu m, it is scheduled to reach it in 2016; after that, payback period will take five to seven years, depending on market situation”, Fetisov announced.

The company implements this investment project on the base of a mill mothballed in 2004. The project is handled by LespromTechnologii managing company, while Trust bank acts as financial partner. Total investment scope exceeded 1.5 billion Rubles, most of the financing was used for equipment upgrades.

The mill will produce edge-sawn lumber for Syria, Turkey, Japan and European Union as well as mouldings, pellets and coal for EU and Russian markets. The planned volume of processing is around 630,000 cu m of sawlog. Production will be waste-free, as bark and chips will be used in heat generation.

After the launch, it is planned to certify wood chains and forest management using FSC standard.

With 130,000 cu m of lumber produced every year, mainly for export, the mill will be listed as one of the top industrial exporters of lumber in Russia.
