According to the press service of PGK, the contract is concluded for three years.

“Our cooperation with PGK has a good history. The conclusion of the service agreement is a new driver for the development of our relations, as it not only consolidates and stabilizes the current situation but also takes into account the plans of our company to increase the volume of supply of products to Asian partners,” – said Timofey Sokolenko, Senior Vice President for sales and supply chain management of Ilim Group.

In addition to exporting products and ensuring the supply of raw materials to enterprises, the companies will jointly develop and implement a production program aimed at improving the customer service of the Ilim Group and the operational efficiency of the freight car fleet.

“We have been cooperating with the Ilim Group for a long time and we see that the needs of a strategically important partner for us in freight shipments are growing due to the development of production capacities. The conclusion of a long – term contract is an important step that will strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of operator services, as well as increase the commercial and technological efficiency of both companies,” commented Alexander Sapronov, CEO of PGK.

In 2018, within the framework of cooperation with the Ilim Group, PGK transported 745 thousand tons of pulp and paper products in covered wagons.
