Only two months have passed since the test launch at the Pavlovsk woodworking plant of MDF production and on June 03, 2019 it became known that the first batch of products was shipped to foreign buyers from the plant.

As the press service of the Forest holding company “Altailes”, which includes the Pavlovsk woodworking plant, explained to WhatWood agency, the plates were sent by road to Kyrgyzstan and railway transport – to Uzbekistan. The size of the shipped plates is 2800 mm × 2070 mm. In the near future MDF and HDF plates will be exported to other countries. The company conducts relevant negotiations with potential customers.

As explained for WhatWood, first of all, the plant’s products are oriented for sale in the domestic market.

According to Dmitry Loginov, commercial Director of Altayles holding, “since the launch of the production of fiberboard, the plant has produced 7827 cubic meters of products. Of these, 4256 cubic meters were sent to customers. Already now we can believe that the demand for products is high. It is mainly the European part of Russia and CIS countries (Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan). According to all forecasts, with the development of furniture production and construction it will only grow. Nevertheless, the production capacity of the Pavlovsk woodworking plant will be enough to cover these needs”.
