Kastamonu has certified the MDF according to the norms of the European Union

Kastamonu has received a CE certificate for MDF in the thickness range up to 30 mm, which confirms the compliance of products with the leading European standards (EN standards). Earlier, the certificate of European conformity of the CE was obtained by the company for laminated flooring, the corporate press service reports.

The presence of this certificate removes technical and administrative barriers to expand the presence of the company’s products in the markets of the EU.

As noted by the General Director of Kastamonu in Russia Ali Kylych,” about 30-40% of the products are exported, so we are interested in further development of external supply lines.”

Kastamonu company was founded in 1969 and is a part of Hayat holding. The group of companies specializes in the production of MDF, chipboard, laminated flooring, door linings, and glossy panels. Consolidated turnover of the company is $1.3 billion Annual productions of wood-based panels is 5 million m3, laminate flooring is  70 million m2.
