JSC “Solikamskbumprom” summed up the preliminary results of the company’s activities for 2018

The main objective of the company in 2018 was to increase the volume of paper production in 2018. As a result, 459.4 thousand tons of paper were produced on newspaper machines, which is 6% more than last year.

The increase in the volume of output occurred on all paper machines, but the most significant increase in productivity was observed in the BDM №1.

The estimated idle speed of the equipment was reduced compared to 2017: the average value for all machines was minus 3%. Best indicators to reduce the estimated idling has made workers paper production No. 2. At the end of 2018, there was also an increase in average working speeds for all paper machines.

In 2018, the work of paper production No. 2 was named the best, which fulfilled the annual plan for the production of newsprint by 100.2%.

Also referred to as annual results in the production of semi-finished products. So, production volumes of pulp to be about the same level as last year, and the production of thermo-mechanical pulp increased by 8%, wood-defibering mass has increased by 4%.

In addition to the main demand and related products of the enterprise. The level of production of wrapping paper is slightly higher than in 2017. Almost in the same volumes as last year lignosulfonates were produced.
Also in 2018, it was planned to significantly increase the volume of own heat production. The task is completely fulfilled by the collective of steam power economy. The amount received for the USO of heat increased in comparison with the 2017 year 8%. Heat production on warm regulation TMP installation projects in relation to the results of 2017 rose 4%.
