In Omsk region it summed up the action “Clean forest”

The action started on gathering of fallen trees and clearing of forest areas from garbage in the second half of May and continued until mid-November of the current year.

According to the main forestry Department of Omsk region, the action “Clean forest” was held in different regions of the region, the total area was 1.8 thousand hectares.the event was attended by foresters, representatives of the administrations of rural settlements and citizens – more than 6.5 thousand people.

The population is given the right to collect dead wood for their own needs on a free basis, subject to garbage collection in the forest. To collect dead wood is allowed only in strictly certain places of the forest Fund, under the control of the staff of the division of forestry. The campaign is held annually By the main forestry Department of Omsk region and is aimed at improving the ecological condition of forests, attracting public attention to the preservation of cleanliness and order in forests.
