In 1H 2020, Russian wood pulp exports grew by 5.2%

According to the Federal Customs Service of Russia, in 1H 2020, the volume of wood pulp exports increased by 5.2% YoY to 1.087 million tons. In value terms, exports fell by 19% YoY to $ 469.1 million.

Over the same period, newsprint paper lost 6.3% YoY of export shipments (580,600 tons), the most significant drop in value terms was 34.6% YoY to $ 198.7 million.
