Ilim Timber to revamp the sawmilling site of its branch in Ust-Ilimsk

Ilim Timber signed a contract with AriVislanda, a Swedish manufacturer of sawmill equipment, for the supply of processing equipment to replace frame head rig sawing lines at its sawmilling site in Ust-Ilimsk in the Irkutsk region.

The purpose of the modernization is to replace the frame head rig sawing lines with modern chipper canters. Installation and commissioning are scheduled for H1 2021. The production capacity for finished sawn timber is about 600,000 m3 per year.
