This was announced on March 07, 2019 by the Director of the branch Alexey Panshin at a meeting of the Deputy Commission on ecology in Bratsk. The integrated environmental improvement program is designed for three years from 2019 to 2021.

“In 2019 it is planned to implement three of the most important projects: shutdown recovery boiler No. 11 for upgrades from May to September, replacement of worn equipment with a more efficient installation of new electrostatic precipitators for flue gas cleaning, limerecovery kilns. This will reduce the volume of gas emissions, thereby solving environmental and technological problems”,-said Mr. Panshin.

Ilim group is one of the world leaders in the production of pulp and paper products. The company’s mills produce 75% of all Russian commercial pulp, 20% of cardboard and 10% of Russian paper. The total annual production of pulp and paper products exceeds 3.4 million tons.
