Ilim Bratsk DOK is certified according to FSC standard

Ilim Bratsk Plywood Mill (Ilim Bratsk DOK), managed by Ilim Timber, was certified according FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) standard, the company reported.

The company Forest Certification, accredited by the Forest Stewardship Council, has implemented audit of the company. The audit assessed the control of procurement process as well as the training system for personnel according to FSC regulations.

The certificate for softwood plywood will be valid until August 1, 2017.

All the mills managed by Ilim Timber Industry pursue responsible social and ecological policy and are certified according to the international standards. Sawn timber Taiga has the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certificate, Ilim Nordic Timber and Ilim Timber Bavaria mills in Germany are certified according PEFC standards, Tolleson Lumber in the U.S. is a holder of SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) certificate.
