At GC “Titan” new logging company earned

Group of companies “Titan” has created a new logging company in the town of Velsk (Velskiy region) Arkhangelsk region – JSC “Powerlines”. The estimated cutting area of the new enterprise is 201.8 thousand m3 per year, which is located in the Velsky, Nyandomsky And Kargopolsky districts.

The new timber industry holding created 70 new jobs, according to the press service of the company. At present, the company is undergoing a complete technical upgrade: more than 15 units of new state-of-the-art equipment will be purchased- logging complexes, equipment for the construction and maintenance of roads, etc.

According to Alexey Kudryavtsev, General Director Of Titan group, the creation of the eleventh logging enterprise is due to the new goals and objectives of the holding in the development of logging and woodworking in the medium term. Top Manager also noted the immutability of conducting active investment policy and social investment in the newly formed LLC “Powerlines” and other enterprises of GC “Titan”.

The Titan group of companies one of the largest operators of forest raw materials in northwestern Federal district. Established in 1990, GC “Titan” includes 11 logging companies, LLC ” Belomorskaya alloy company “(timber transportation), as well as the largest sawmill in the European part of Russia – JSC”Lesozavod 25”. The estimated cutting area is 3.2 million m3. GC “Titan” provides employment to five thousand residents of the Arkhangelsk region. Every year, tax payments to the budgets of all levels, fees to extra-budgetary funds exceed 1 billion rubles.
